NRC CEO DeLibra Wesley Named ASA Volunteer of the Year

The American Staffing Association announced it has named National Recruiting Consultants CEO DeLibra Wesley the 2023 ASA Volunteer of the Year. Industry peers selected Wesley unanimously for the award.

“DeLibra Wesley exemplifies the best of the staffing industry,” said Richard Wahlquist, ASA president and CEO in ASA’s press release. “DeLibra’s enthusiasm and passion for volunteering lifts up everyone around her. We thank her for all of her contributions to ASA and the staffing industry.”

Wesley serves on the ASA board of directors. She also serves as vice chair of the inclusion, diversity and equity advocacy (IDEA) group council and is a member of the ASA women in leadership interest group council. She is also a member of the ASA Texas Network council.

In addition, Wesley has completed two cycles as a mentor in the ASA Mentor Match program and has participated as a facilitator and panelist at ASA events. She is a sought-out diversity, equity and inclusion subject matter expert.

“I didn’t even realize how much volunteering I had done in the past year until I was nominated for this award. I just love helping people. I’m so flattered and humbled to be named Volunteer of the Year,” said Wesley.
