Special Education Teacher
Job Title: Special Education Teacher needed
Location: Converse, TX
Job Type: Full time school contract position
Hours per week: up to 40 hr/wk
Grade Level: elementary classroom coverage needed
Job Description: Contract SPED teacher needed to cover a self-contained classroom for the 26/27 school year for a charter school; Must be full time and in person; must have classroom experience and have a current TX SPED Cert to be submitted over for interview
Qualifications:
- Degree in current specialty field of work from an accredited university
- Current and valid state licensure to practice or current state certificate in field of work required for the position
- One year of experience preferred in role however, a new graduate with fieldwork in a school setting may be considered
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
