Special Education Teacher
Job Title: Special Education Teacher needed
Location: Leander, TX
Job Type: School contract position
Hours per week: 37.5 hr / wk
Grade Level: elementary
Job Description: SPED Teacher needed just north of Austin, TX; full time in person coverage needed; covering self-contained life skills for elementary age students; 8 students on your caseload; start date is ASAP for the remainder of the school year
Qualifications:
- Degree in current specialty field of work from an accredited university
- Current and valid state licensure to practice or current state certificate in field of work required for the position
- One year of experience preferred in role however, a new graduate with fieldwork in a school setting may be considered
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
